Terms of use
The terms for using the site and its content.
Last updated Nov 3, 2026.
Who you are dealing with
Rooting Home is a sole proprietorship based in Texas, USA. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Information, not advice
Builds are for general information. They are not professional advice of any kind: building, electrical, plumbing, legal, financial, or medical. Check with a qualified person, and follow local codes, before you rely on anything here. You use what you read at your own risk.
Who owns what
The site's own text, design, and images belong to Rooting Home, unless marked otherwise. You may share links to it and quote short parts with credit and a link.
Embedded videos belong to their creators and play in YouTube's and TikTok's official players, under those platforms' terms. Quoted snippets belong to their authors and are short, credited, and linked to their source. Featuring a video does not mean its creator endorses the site.
Reporting a copyright problem
If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email support@rootinghome.com with: what the work is, where it is on this site (the page's url), how to reach you, and a statement that you own the rights or act for the owner. A takedown is handled within a few working days.
Affiliate links and promotions
Some links earn the site a commission, and some builds are paid for or feature something given for free. Each one says so under the build's title and beside the link. A brand never approves a build before it goes up, unless the build says otherwise. See the disclosure.
Outside links and embeds
Links to other sites and embedded videos are there to help, but the site does not control them and is not responsible for what they say, or for what happens on them.
Limits
The site is given as it is. To the extent the law allows, Rooting Home is not liable for any loss that comes from using it or from relying on what it says. Nothing here takes away a right the law gives you that cannot be taken away.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in the county in Texas where the assumed name certificate for Rooting Home is filed.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did.
